It's definitely been a challenge! But I enjoy challenges, and I've enjoyed this one.
Some letters have been easy, some I've struggled with - but blogging about different topics, most connected with writing in some way, has made me think about these topics more, and in some cases, find out something new myself.
One example was my K posts - I was stuck on this letter until I found the word Kinesics - body language. I looked at various websites, and got more and more fascinated with the whole topic, and how useful it could be in my writing.
My only regret is not getting round to more blogs - I simply didn't have the time. It took me all my time revisiting those I had signed up to follow, especially when their chosen topic (as shown on the dashboard) drew me to them.
I've gained some followers but, more importantly, I've made some friends, and hopefully will keep in contact with them now via our blogs.
Many thanks to everyone involved in A-Z!
Congratulations on completing the challenge. It was such an exciting event that brought so many bloggers together. I totally forgot about what my topic was for the letter K, lol. Wow. You have me trying to figure out what it was now. That goes to show how busy we all were during the month of April.

I had the same struggle you did to get around to others. But I successfully completed too! And thanks for your recent follow of my blog--hope you're having a happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteCongratz on completing the challenge. I too wish I could have visited more, I am still discovering new "faces". I am glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.
ReplyDeleteI just went to a workshop on body language in writing today! It was very interesting.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting through the challenge!
ReplyDelete- Sophia.
It's been a great month and I have found some great new blogs to follow. I am making the most of the reflections posts to find a few more. Now following :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, it would have been more than a full time job to get round everybody's A to Zs. It's been great fun though and I've met lots of new blogging friends too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it all the way through. And here's to many more months and years of amazing blogging ^_^
ReplyDeletePaula don't feel bad. WE ALL didn't have the time. 1200 plus bloggers in a month besides writing a post everyday.
ReplyDeleteFor me my posts took almost four hours daily. I did flash fiction with a twist. Fun but exhausting.
Congrats on finishing.
Very few people (if any) made it to all 1200+ the main thing for me was having fun and connecting with new people. Congrats on finishing, well done
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for dropping by my blog and for your kind comments. :-) Ok, we didn't get to meet during the actual challenge - but it's great to link up anyway!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing the challenge - I'm now following and will be back to take a good look round! I only scratched the surface with visiting other blogs during April - trying to get round a few more now!
SueH I refuse to go quietly!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI admire every one who stuck through the A-Z from start to finish, though I'm glad I was not the only one to drop out.
There's an award for you at my blog: fire award.
And, a romance (just married cute) blog award on my award page (see sidebar link). ;)
best
F
Congratulations on finishing the challenge! I really enjoyed it too. I think the toughest letter for most people was X.
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your congrats and also your reassurance that I wasn't the only one not to visit 1200 blogs during April. I'm now working my way through the Blog Hop - I'll get to you all sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteSpecial thanks to Melissa for visiting my website and leaving a comment there.
And Mercy, I 'cheated' with X - and posted an Xcerpt from my June release of 'His Leading Lady.'
Now I'm off to Francine's blog to see what awards she's given me :-D
Paula, it was great meeting you through the challenge. We did it! I would have liked to visit more blogs too but we did our best.
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm one of the co-hosts and I only visited half of the blogs! We were overwhelmed by the number of participants this year.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time.
Congratulations on finishing! My problems were with the letter X. I'm glad you found my blog and hopefully we will stay connected.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing. I too wanted to get around to so many more but here I am better late than never. In fact I think I have saved the best (s) for last.
ReplyDeletewell done on completing the challenge. Time was an issue for me too, but the challenge is complete now !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing! I'm still working on the visiting part. I know I'll never make it to them all. I'm glad for people like you who leave comments and then I can click into lovely blogs like yours!
ReplyDeleteit was a grand time and i've met some lovely people.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it through the A-Z Challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have gotten around to more people during the month--I'm still getting to everyone!
Congratulations for completing the challenge and for conquering your K AND learning something new. I LOVE that :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great reflections post as well :)
Cheers :)
Hello Paula,
ReplyDeleteI too have found it difficult to make the rounds and like you feel blessed in my new blogging friendships that have resulted in participating in this Challenge.
I have added myself as a Follower to this blog, as well as one of your others; British Romance Fiction - which I found quite interesting.
I look forward to dropping by, now and then, and following your writing adventures.
Cheers, Jenny
I like the way you've put the blog hop in the sidebar, that's brilliant. It's been exhausting to try to visit and comment and post - in fact it still is a challenge, but so rewarding to read so many fantastic reflections posts. Sue
ReplyDeleteCongrats fellow challenger. It was such a blast and continuing as I manage to get a few more blogs in.
ReplyDelete+1 follower from blog hop, cool blog
ReplyDeleteHi Paula .. well done .. and we do continue to learn and keep ourselves interested in life - kinesics .. love the 'K' word ..
ReplyDeleteI found the writing easy - the ABCs... visiting everyone was just not possible - though I hope to get round somehow sometime ..
Cheers and see you around definitely .. have a good week - Hilary
Funny how it works when you start researching something and get deeper and deeper. That alone makes the Challenge worth the effort. And not making the rounds was a common shortcoming for all of us--how could we? You did great. Thank you for taking the leap to Blog from A to Z.

Tossing It Out
I think I struggled most with the letter Y... And we were so close to the end I was like, COME ON! Think of something!
ReplyDeleteHi Paula, yes wasn't the challenge a challenge? Getting around and commenting was more time consuming than writing the posts! It was nice to meet new people but it is nice to get back to 'normal.'
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me at L'Aussie Writing. You would have seen the new venture Francine and I have dreamed up. Are you interested in joining us? We would love to have you on board. I see you are in Heroines with Hearts also.

Congratulations Paula on completing the A-Z Challenge. It was a windwhirl that is for sure. I just couldn't get around to as many blogs as I wanted to either. Delighted to meet you. Look forward to reading many more of your posts.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you! I'm making my rounds as part of this: Shannon @ The Warrior Muse and I are joining forces in another challenge. We're going to visit and comment at each of the participants, starting with the reflections post. We hope you'll join us!
