Oh, wow. I love Riva del Garda. It's one of my wife and I's favourite places in the world. We've been twice. It's like a little piece of Heaven.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a beautiful place, isn't it, Paul? Next time I want to go when it's a bit warmer as there was a cool wind a lot of the time!
ReplyDeleteAugust is good. It's still very warm but just starting to cool.
ReplyDeleteAugust sounds good for sitting outside with a glass of wine in the evening (without having to wear two sweaters and a coat!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I remember some of them from my own trip with my husband a year after we were married (Rome, Florence & Venice). Any cute Italian men? :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Someday I would like to go, but for now, I will just enjoy your pictures! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics, Paula! I really want to visit Lake Garda and verona - and to revisit Venice. Weather looks good too!
ReplyDeleteA cute waiter at the hotel, Jen, and a VERY nice tour guide in Verona - but both rather too young for me :-(
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Susan - glad you enjoyed the photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rosemary - I loved Verona, especially the medieval squares. Didn't have as long as I would have liked in Venice, so would love to go back there one day.
ReplyDeleteThis place looks fabulous!! I would love to get to vacation there. I hope you had a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! I'm sure your trip to Italy inspired you for future romance novels...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. The only one I enlarged to get a better look of though was the one of the ice cream. LOL I'm needing me a snack.....
ReplyDeleteJenn - it really was beautiful, but I want to go back when it's a bit warmer!
ReplyDeletebeachlover - I'm already thinking about a possible novel which starts off in Venice!
Angie - the ice cream looks (and tastes!) delicious!
