Six Sentence Sunday - First Meeting

Another excerpt from my recently released 'His Leading Lady' with the first meeting between Jess and Kyle. This is a continuation from last week when Kyle said he'd seen Jess watching him from the back of the shop.

“Oh - I - er ...” she stuttered as an embarrassed flush crept to her cheeks.

“Don’t apologise and I won’t either."

Quickly she reverted to the cool approach.  “Obviously I don’t need to introduce myself, and I assume you’re Kyle Drummond.”

“Yes – and where the hell is Lora?”

The abrupt demand threw her off balance again.

More next week!

'His Leading Lady' available as e-book and paperback from www.whiskeycreekpress.com or from Amazon http://amzn.to/opp1ky

(BTW, Miriam, he's asking about Lora who is Jess' twin sister) - check out the blurb at http://paulamartinromances.webs.com)

Als, I'm having problems leaving comments on some blogs, they are simply disappearing - presumably a blogger glitch? So apologies to anyone who hasn't had a comment from me.

  18. Sue, I've heard good and bad points about Chrome, and my compter expert advised me against it so I took his advice. But if blogger continues to play up with IE, I might have to reconsider!

  19. Hi Paula. This is great! I must say I'd never, never, ever go back to IE after using Chrome after that google scare some months back. Chrome is awesome! I've so missed that notice 'IE cannot open this page!' not! Most people I know moved to Chrome at the same time. Only positive!
